The homeowner requested a new design for this existing kitchen for improved efficiency and to create a clean, timeless look. The look of the new design was created by taking cues from the existing home’s colonial style. Architectural elements such as the farmhouse style sink, subway tiles, extra-large crown molding detail and the decorative toe-kick motif, were all added to complete the theme. New, professional quality appliances were incorporated carefully into the custom cabinets for a built-in look, and the cabinet interiors include specialty dividers and sliding hardware designed to maximize the usable space within. The project also included a new mudroom, laundry room and sunroom entry.
