When the owners purchased this Northern Wisconsin acreage it came with a cottage featuring hand crafted, eclectic features. Our challenge was to incorporate the original cottage, especially its unique features, into the design of their new home. We accomplished this with an addition and remodeling that salvaged most of the original interior features and extended the existing stone work along with new siding so as to unify new and old. The new, modern addition flows into the past and provides a comforting environment for the new owners.
